Destructive Mitchell County Storm Kills and Wounds Dozens
A severe storm in Mitchell County kills about twenty and injures nearly one hundred as it damages fifty homes and crops. A baby survived in a field while an 18 year old girl was blown half a mile and escaped unharmed. Relief trains carried doctors and supplies to the stricken area and reports include floods in Hot Springs Arkansas and snow in Denver.

Secretary Walker of the Chamber of Commerce reports many property owners on the north side and many on the east and west sides have agreed to pave the square.
