Mrs Ollie Goodloe Long died at her home on South Oak street after fourteen weeks of illness. She was 51 and married to F T Long since 1902. Funeral held at First Baptist church with burial in Oak Grove cemetery. She leaves husband and daughter Maggie.

U C V Memorial Services Held At First Christian Church

Accident While Bullfrogging Leaves Man Wounded
Roy Holland accidentally shot himself in the left leg while shooting bullfrogs on Salt Creek last Thursday evening. A 92 calibre rifle discharged during shell extraction. the bullet struck below the groin and was not located. Doctors advised leaving it alone. He has endured pain and limited use but continues to work as a grocery clerk for Jno E Morrison Co.

In Jacksboro Texas on May 16 Henry J Hensley sold 500 native Hereford Short Horn and Aberdeen Angus three and four year old steers to Frank Griffith of Wichita Kansas. The cattle finished on grass with oil cake and sold for 100 dollars per head to be shipped to Wichita Kansas market.
