Mrs Gachter Dead In Graham After Long Local Life
Mrs Gertrude Gachter died at her home last Saturday and was buried Sunday at Oak Grove cemetery. She was 83 and a Graham resident since the town's early days born in Prussia March 17 1835. She came to the United States at age twelve. Survived by four children John Gachter Mrs W C Barnum Mrs J L Heighten and Miss Lena Gaehter all of Graham.

Duncan Rifles Formed From Monday Night Assembly
Forty seven young men organized a military company named The Duncan Rifles in tribute to Captain Dr. R. A. Duncan. Speeches by M. K. Graham Col Crawford and Judge Stinson followed. Deaths in Marathon Texas from Pneumonia
Word reached yesterday that Julius Wedin died last Sunday and his wife died Tuesday of pneumonia at their Marathon Texas home. Mrs. Wedin was D. B. Watkins’s daughter, killed last winter in a car wreck at Caddo. The Wedin family long lived near Ivan with relatives there.
