The Priscilla Club gathered Tuesday with Mrs. Evans Mabry hosting a social hour. Miss Faytine Dowdle and Lou Cunningham played piano. A refreshing course was served and the hostess’s bill was remitted. Future meetings set for 4 o’clock. Mrs. Mayer, Mrs. McCarroll as next hostess. Megargel page mentions Tankersley returning from a trip, town growth, a $5000 hotel planned, and a newly formed Commercial Club led by W. C. Steger with 37 members. Dr J H Newell from Murray ordered the Leader mailed to him.
