Democratic executive meeting enacts white voter pledge in county primary
The Young County Democratic Committee met in the district court room on June 19 and adopted a pledge that voters must be white and support the nominees. The panel announced majority nominations, set a August 26 runoff, and listed assessment fees for candidates.
