Graham Chamber of Commerce has pressed for a union depot for months. A letter dated June 19 1922 from J P Rayzor secretary to the Rock Island officials says plans are complete bids are being received and the Rock Island Board will decide soon with construction likely starting after contract approval before fall in Graham Texas.

Mrs Will Babb Dies at Home on West Third Street
Mrs Will Babb died at her home on West Third Street after a lingering illness. She lived in the county since childhood and is survived by her husband a little daughter and many relatives. Funeral services were conducted by Dr C R Taylor at the First Baptist Church and she was laid to rest in Oak Grove cemetery. A large crowd attended and floral offerings were beautiful.

Baptist Services Seek Large Attendance Next Week
The Baptist church plans regular morning services next Sunday with Sunday School at 9 45 and an expected 350 attendees. Sunday Schools Open Baseball League Tuesday

Grandpa Stewart aged 87, long ill at his son Will Stewart’s East Graham home, has suffered a relapse and is now in dangerous condition. Another son, Reverend J. H. Terry Casey Dies After Weekslong Suffering in Tex. Fort Worth
James Terry Casey died at Fort Worth in Harris Sanitarium on June 16 1922 after seven weeks of severe injuries from a broken limb and spinal damage. Born September 23 1894 in Red Top Young county Texas he was 27. He married Edith Atkinson at Jacksboro June 17 1918 and left a wife two young sons a mother father three sisters and two brothers. The bereaved note his readiness to go and request a Presbyterian service at Jacksboro.
