Last Friday the Graham Lions Club hosted a Charter Presentation Banquet at the basement of the Methodist church, with Dr Chappell Fort Worth presenting the charter and Mayor W P Stinson delivering a response. The celebration included songs, speeches, and a themed menu titled Lions Jungle Feed, served by the Christian church ladies, with souvenirs for all guests and hearty toasts to the Lions, Lionesses, missionaries, and Methodist hosts.

Inspection Party to Travel Fort Worth to Las Vegas
A caravan leaves Fort Worth on June 29 to travel the F F F Highway toward Las Vegas New Mexico stopping overnight in Graham Weatherford and Mineral Wells and other towns en route. The Graham stop will include hosting duties and locals are urged to join the party when it reaches their town. The community aims to display hospitality and hope the caravan brings many vehicles to Graham for the overnight stay.
