Harry S. Douglass and Mamie Ellis of Henrietta wed Tuesday afternoon at the Ellis home on West Gilbert street with Pastor J. B. Lumbley officiating. The couple left for Newcastle with guests joining to Wichita Falls, then plan to return home next week. The bride, raised in Graham, is sister to Mrs. J. S. Simpson and Mrs. Tom Howell. The groom is a popular Henrietta businessman.

Pioneer Texas matriarch Mrs Gholson dies at 84
Mrs E A Gholson died last Sunday night at eighty four. She is buried Monday at Oak Grove cemetery at 4 pm. Her husband, a Mexican War veteran, served under Houston at San Jacinto. Ladies Aid Pie Social Plans at Presbyterian Church
The Ladies Aid and Missionary Society met with Mrs. Owen and chosen “saved” as reference. A pie social is set for February 22 at the Manse from 5 to 10 pm with all kinds of pies.
