Big Monday in Graham Trades Day Draws Crowd
A large crowd gathered in Graham last Monday despite morning rain and wet roads. The broncho busting was not pulled off, but extensive street trading and strong hardware and farming implement sales indicated a vibrant Trades Day, meeting West Texas standards since the event began.

Woodmen Rally Delights Local Crowd With Fraternal Talk
A good crowd attended the Woodmen Rally last Monday night. The program opened with music by the Firemen's Band and a short prayer by Rev. C. F. Pearce. Miss Redders gave an apt reading. Mr. Young, the evening speaker, delivered a strong talk on fraternity and praised the order, finishing with the Ode to the Skull.

Pioneer Mrs Leberman Dies In Orth County
Mrs John A Leberman died at her home in Orth last Friday and her remains were buried in Orth cemetery Saturday evening. A pioneer settler, she moved to the county over thirty years ago and left a husband five sons and one daughter. The community extends sympathy to the family.

Baptists Buy Parsonage in Graham
The First Baptist church of Graham purchased Judge Geo H McLaren's South Elm street home this week. Pastor Dr W T Rouse and family have moved in. The church recently built a church edifice costing over 10000 dollars and over 900 dollars was subscribed to buy a parsonage. A unanimous vote thanked outside friends for their assistance.

The Ladies Missionary Society of the Baptist church met on Thursday February 9 with Mrs Steen four teen ladies attended. Mrs E W Fry led the Numbers lesson.
