Helen A. Ragland died at her sister Mrs. Floyd Atchison’s home last Sunday morning at age nine years three days. Her funeral was held at Center Ridge Cemetery at 3 p m with Rev S D Cook presiding. She had feeble health for two years and underwent two operations for appendicitis. she never recovered after a last operation Saturday night. The Leader extends sympathy to the family.

Trades Day in Graham Attracts Crowds Despite Weather
Last Monday marked Trades Day in Graham with a packed opera house for the Merchants Free Picture Show and a horse race at the mace track won by the Newcastle entrant.
