The Sunflower Minstrels, produced by the American Legion and Graham Concert Band, come next week with top talent. Featured acts include Russell, Wood, Morrison, Hampton, Hutchison, Thornton, McFarlane, Rubenkoenig, Will Stewart, Marion Burkett, Smiling Ernest Babb, Phil Hughey, Harry Clark, Buck Dancing Jim Smith, Otto Deats, Casburn Bros and Bowers String Band. Performances scheduled Olney Teele 16, Graham Feb 17 at the school house auditorium and Feb 18 at the Majestic Theatre. Tickets 35c-60c. reserve seats 75c. A Ford roadster stolen from Janes Contracting Co. in Graham was found in Archer City. William O’Donnell was arrested for the theft. Jurisdiction raids shut a gambling hall in South Bend. M. S. Sinnells and five others were jailed on gambling charges. All county dance halls enjoined. several women arrested for vagrancy and drunkenness. fines levied. Dope-addicted women jailed. two named Billie Sager and Tyna Edwards fined. James Roach arrested for forgery in Oil City. Sheriff reports jail near capacity. Gas Showings At Elliott Well West Of Olney
Encouraging news from a well west of Olney drilled by J T Elliott and associates of Portland Oregon. The test is about tn and one half miles west of Olney at around 1000 feet with good gas showings. Geologists favor the Olney structure and a strong field is hoped for. nearby Archer county has shallow oil tests and Young county reports strong oil showings. The South Bend and Bunger pools in Young county have produced over 300000 barrels in January. Drilling faces casing problems but will continue to push for an early oil find.

Mr. Smith known as Daddy Smith among miners was seriously injured last week when a heavy piece fell on him while digging coal in the Loving mine. Companions lifted the weight after several minutes and he was taken to Newcastle on Saturday for medical care.

Car Thieves Busy In Young County
Car thieves are active in Young County with several vehicles stolen last weekend. Ben Paschall's Ford roadster was stolen during a church service, recovered in Breckenridge, and returned to Gra ham. Jones Contracting's new roadster on Elm Street was recovered in Archer City and returned. An O'Donnell suspect was jailed for possession. A Ford truck from LeSage Motor was abandoned nearby. Deputies have recovered several cars and returned them to owners across the state.

Mrs J M McKinney Dies at Home in Seymour
Mrs J M McKinney died last Friday morning at 6 o clock at her home in Seymour after a period of illness. Pneumonia was given as the immediate cause though she had been unwell since a stomach trouble a year or so ago. Funeral services were held at the family residence Saturday afternoon with W J and Tom McKinney traveling to Seymour Friday after learning of her death.

McLane Recovers From Appendicitis Operation
N. V. McLane underwent an operation for acute appendicitis last Friday. He was taken to the hospital in severe pain but is doing well and should be out soon. He is a popular oil man, vice president and secretary of the Anzac Oil Association, secretary of the Monroe Production Company, and partner with Cheney and DeFreest in the Banger field.

James Boozier, seven year old, was struck and killed outside South Bend last Thursday by a car driven by J S Montgomery.
