W H H James Dies Civil War Veteran At 83
W H H James aged 83 died early last Wednesday November 28 at the home of J A Wright a few miles west of Graham born in Concord Delaware September 11 1840 he fought for the South under General Early his family in the North disowned him he lived two years in Washington State with Wright who cared for him as a father burial was at Median Chapel with Rev P E Cantrell officiating he was a Mason and Christian and a lover of poetry never married.

Graham Texas will host America’s Answer, a war documentary from the U S Army Signal Corps, at the National Theatre December 12 and 13. The film covers gas attacks No Man’s Land phosphorus grenades aerial combat artillery and trench raids as it portrays front line fighting and the push to make the world safe for democracy.
