Graham Continues In the Dry Column

Rains are reported in many places in Texas but Graham stays in the dry column. Light showers fell early Saturday and again Wednesday with little moisture. Temperatures dropped after good rains, offering relief from heat. Cotton and feedstuffs suffer. prospects for a large county crop look poor unless late frost. Some deep sandy lands may yield a fair crop where rain fell a month ago. Evaporating wind and heat threaten water reserves, though June rains filled tanks.
