The Graham city council hired J. B. Hawley of Fort Worth to construct a waterworks plant after a bond election. Plans include a 100,000 gallon standpipe tower 20 by 42 feet on West Mountain, with a six inch main from the Sait Creek pumping station. Bonds sold to H. W. Swain of Dallas at face value plus interest, amounting to $50. Estimated 100 days to complete. plant ready then.

E. G. Reeves Dies After Long Illness
E. G. Reeves died Sunday at 4 p m after a long illness of complications. A longtime county resident and model citizen, he was beloved by friends and leaves a family and several siblings. The remains were taken to Miller Bend for burial in the family grounds.
