Hold Hitchhiker Held for Grand Jury Action
Walter Dent an 18 year old from Bosley Georgia is jailed in Taylor county awaiting the September grand jury on theft charges. Police say he accepted a ride and then stole items from the rider's luggage including a camel hair sweater valued at 15 dollars a white shirt at 3 dollars and a fifth of Green River liquor valued at 3.60 totaling 21 dollars. The complainant was Robert L Church of Ohio who reported the theft while traveling to Cambridge Virginia.
