Tragedy in Klocow family shocks Sterling North Dakota
Frank Klocow of Sterling North Dakota killed his wife and five children in what authorities say was a murderous spree followed by his own death. A neighbor heard shots around midnight and a coroner later said the killings appeared deliberate with a rifle change and a final self-inflicted wound. The five children Myrtle aged 14 Leland 8 and three older boys Fred Glan and Oliver plus Mrs Klocow were found shot in the home with a revolver used and cartridges scattered near the scene. A note to Henry Klocow of Estherville and a bank visit prior to the tragedy are mentioned as part of the investigation.
