Two Little Girls Die In Fairfield Fire Tragedy
Thelma Hagen aged 18 and Merna Ann aged 3 perished when their Fairfield township home near Graettinger burned after an explosion in the kitchen range. Mr Hagen relayed the alarm after checking the barn as Mrs Hagen carried their infant outside. Fire trapped the girls on the second floor. a downstairs boy was rescued. The parents suffered facial and hand burns. Sympathy pours in for the Hagen family.
