Bold Robbery at Cleveland Minnesota Strikes Bank
A desperate gang raided the First State Bank of Cleveland Minnesota early Tuesday morning escaping with about $3,800 in cash and $12,000 in negotiable papers and bonds. They cut telephone and telegraph lines, used two cars, blasted vault doors, and fled south after a nearly two hour operation. Local residents aided by sentinels and alarms faced the robbers as detectives and insurers anticipated the next steps.
