Rolfe Lundgren son of A T Lundgren and Frances Stewart daughter of Mr and Mrs Stewart wed in Graettinger Weilen on October 2 1936 at 11 PM with Chester Lundgren and Mary Stewart as attendants. The couple plan a honeymoon to Omaha and return to live on the Herman Horke farm north of Osjganl. Frances Stewart trained as a nurse in Mason City and has worked notably in the field. The bride’s character and professional success are noted as outstanding.

Took Motor Trip Through South Dakota Report
P J and 1D EB McGarty Post Peter Wil O'Connor and i Mit chell returned Sunday from a 3200 mile trip to South Dakota and Minnesota. They visited the Black Hills Bad Lands Redfield Rapid City Watertown and southern Minnesota. They found South Dakota desolate this year with moisture abundant hay and feed but no livestock. Dearth and dust storms led to cattle sales and stock depletion. In Minnesota there are fine corn fields reported by the Grachteringer party.
