A G Barber Injured In Truck Crash
A G Barber sustained cuts and shock after a Des Moines Municipal Construction Co truck collided with Barber’s truck on Highway 18 near inmetsburg around 1 a.m. Friday. The Des Moines vehicle wrecked in a ditch and burned. Barber’s enclosed trailer remained intact. John Kibbie of Ayrshire suffered a severely injured face when his 1924 Ford struck a culvert near the Joe Kibbie farm southeast of Ayrshire at 1 30 pm Wednesday. One daughter was ejected about fifty feet landing in a ditch. a leg bone near the ankle was broken. The child’s facial injuries were not serious. Kibbie was taken to Emmetsburg hospital for surgery.
