Fishing party uncovers liquor cache in weeds
A trio of youths fishing near Orleans find nine pint bottles of Vermitone liquor amid weeds by the railroad. After drinking, they return home in high spirits, planning more fishing season. Also notes report J. D. Chier’s thirty day sentence for bounced checks and four Spencer youths who wandered west only to be stopped in Estherville and sent home.
