Memorial Day Observance Planned by Graettinger Committee
The Graettinger Memorial Day committee plans services on the day with business houses asked to close. Citizens are urged to meet at the school grounds at 9 a.m. Veterans and sons of veterans lead a parade with town children, followed by an auto procession to the river aragon bridge for naval honors. Citizens are urged to participate and those wishing to sing Memorial Day should attend Hawkeye practice Friday at seven with instruction from Mr. Rauschmayer.
