Baccalaureate Sermon and Graettinger Commencement Planned
Next Sunday evening at Eight o'clock Dr. Martin C. Thompson will preach the baccalaureate sermon for Graettinger class of 1926 at Hawkaye theatre. Commencement exercises Thursday June 8 will award diplomas to eighteen Graettinger High graduates with Dr. George F. Kay delivering the address. J J Kelly died Wednesday evening at his home near Emmetsburg after a long illness. He had been critically ill for a week. Funeral services will be Friday at nine in the morning at Assumption church Emmetsburg with burial in the Catholic cemetery north of the city. A long time resident, he lived on a farm east of town.
