Loss of infant Allen Mugene Evans Funeral at Eight Miles East of Grachtinger
The infant son of Mr and Mrs John Tivans died Saturday evening from acute indigestion. Funeral services were at their home eight miles east of Grachtinger Monday at 10:00 led by Rev C J Mekkerson with burial at De pew Cemetery. A large turnout and flowers reflected community sympathy. Palo Alto candidates noted by The American Issue Westerfield Ohio endorse Dickingon Saunders and McCarty for district and county positions, Carmichael for county attorney, and R J Shea for sheriff.

The 1925 crop was 61 percent larger than 1924 with a total yield of 2,047,100 bushels, while 1922's total reached 465,115,000 bushels. Harvest methods show most corn was harvested by shucking or snapping, with small portions used for silage, fodder, or hogging down.

Funeral Of J. J. Kelly Held Friday Morning
James J. Kelly, longtime Vernon township resident, died after illness. Funeral services were held at Assumption church with Very Rev. J G Murtagh officiating and burial in St. John's cemetery. Survived by one son James and five daughters, plus five brothers and two sisters. He was born February 4, 1866 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Old Lunt Mark Moved to Corner for New Site
An old Lunt mark was relocated Tuesday moving the bakery building from the south side of Robbins avenue to the corner east of the Community Service Station. J B Lambe says the fire was erected by A C G Kent in fall 1801 and used as a land office for about twenty years, the last building on that side of the street.
