The Graettinger Lutheran church marked its 30th anniversary with large crowds at Friday Saturday and a packed Sunday service drawing visitors from nearby charges including St John’s Cylinder. The event featured mission meetings with outside pastors and a record Sunday dinner serving 300 plus people.

The Pratt home mourns Sylvester Hupp who died after choking on a corn kernel last Thursday. He was rushed to Mayo Hospital in Chester, Minnesota, where an incision was made but could not save him. The funeral was held from the home with burial at Mammetsbury Cemetery.
