Two hundred people attended the Wooster meeting at Lost Island Creamery on Thursday March 10. Diplomats were awarded to patrons scoring 98 or above for cream delivered. County Agent Clark spoke on business methods in dairying. Music came from the Lost Island String and Vocal Quartets. The creamery has met Iowa Brand Butter standards. manager Andrew Anderson notes Iowa Brand has boosted returns by about 1800 in the last year. Over 90 percent of output sold under the Brand.

Cream Routes Expand Across West Region
Cream routéa a newly established rain plan extends from Gruettinger with Thoreson transporting along a Leth route every other day. He begins early and returns to Groettinger at forendon amid a busy season expected to bring many customers as routes spread in the state. Big Case At Tammataburg In Hawarden Bank Dispute
The case of the 1st National Bank of Hawarden versus the Emmetsburg National Bank directors opened in Emmetsburg this week. The amount involved is about $20,000. Trial began Monday morning and is expected to continue through the week. Jury members include B. Scharmann Peter J. Patergen Ivar Christiansen Axelton Christiansen and others from Groettinger. An automobile driven by James A. Slater of Des Moines collided with Herb Bryan’s machine at the Noble’s Grocery corner last evening around five o’clock. Slater’s car was headed east and Bryan’s south. The Des Moines car sustained a broken left fender. Slater was driving a new Dodge coupe.

Fred Rabink Injured After Ladder Collapse at Farm
Fred Rabink of Graottingde fell twenty feet from a ladder at the Ole Peterson farm. He was dazed for about sixty minutes but sustained no serious injuries. He escaped serious harm due to the ladder collapse and landed safely.

Graettinger and Fallow Butter Makers Win Honors
Henry Hansen of Graettinger and A P Andersen of Fallow win recognition in town educational butter scoring contests. Hansen placed third with 04.41 and Andersen seventh with 04.06, behind Northwood’s H C Stendel and an Oelwein entrant. Across eight contests in the year 887 tubas of butter were entered by 214 makers, with top twenty five proving high quality and consistency. The Times congratulates Hansen and Andersen for their fine showing and the honors to their creameries.

Death of Wayne Elden Marxen at three months old
