Funeral Held for Antone Christofferson in City
The community gathered Saturday at 11 o clock for the funeral of Antone Christofferson who died February 27 after years of illness. Rev N P Simonsen of the Danish Lutheran church officiated. interment followed in the cemetery. Christofferson, born in Denmark February 25 1859, married Christina Fries in 1879 and later emigrated to America, living in Washington and later Palo Alto county. He leaves a large family. neighbors recall his integrity and industrious character.

The talk critiqued the league’s finances and noted legal troubles, urging farmers to beware while praising organized action against war.
