Funeral Held For Art Christianson In Lost Island Township
The funeral for Art Christianson, death previously noted in the Times, was held Saturday afternoon. Services were at his parents home in Lost Island township then at Lost Island Lutheran church with Rev Mandswager and Rev J C Sanda officiating. Pallbearers were six uncles. burial followed in the church cemetery. Christianson, born August 5 1900, married Agnas Anderton in 1922. He and his wife lived in Thompson after a period in West Bend and Jensen & Golstad store ownership. He died after a spinal injury led to paralysis and a fatal heart clot on February 26. He was highly regarded and mourned by family and community.

Blaze at C F Leonard Farm Destroys Tool House
Tuesday afternoon a fire at the C F Leonard Jar farm destroyed the tool house and a supply of tools and repairs and a feed cooker. Loss about 250 dollars not insured on the burned building.
