Jorgen Larsen of Graettinger city and Esther Marie Petersen of South Walnut township united in marriage at St Pauls Lutheran Church on Wednesday June 8 at noon. The ceremony was performed by Rabbi Axel M. Anderson. Best man was Armand Larson, bridesmaid Mildred Bonstead. A wedding dinner followed at the bride’s parents home. About thirty five relatives attended. The couple will live on a farm southwest of Graettinger. The bride is daughter of P A Petersen. groom son of L C Larson. James Heenan Dies Tuesday Morning
Telegram from Freeport Illinois reports James Heenan died Tuesday morning after a cancer battle. He and wife Mrs Heenan had resided in Graettinger and recently stayed in Red Oak before Mr Heenan was moved to a Freeport hospital. Survived by wife and daughter Mattie, about 65 years old.

The firm, a large American Telephone & Telegraph Co. subsidiary, employs 21,000 Chicago workers and plans to move engineering to a new Kearney New Jersey plant with 6,000 already there. The company operates club stores, a $10,000,000 building and loan, and offers stock purchase plans to staff.
