Short Course For County This Month At Emmetsburg
The county hosts a Farm Management Short Course during the week of February 18 in Emmetsburg courthouse, the sole state event of its kind this year. Iowa State College leaders in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry, and Soils will present a strong program from nine to four daily. Mr Herbst starts with Farm Management and Farm Accounting, Holmes discusses Types of Farming and Agricultural Outlook, Forman covers soil problems, Davidson addresses Agricultural Engineering, and Beresford leads livestock feeding and management discussions.
