IRS to compute retirement income credit for eligible taxpayers
Taxpayers who are retired and qualify for the retirement income credit can opt to have the IRS compute their tax and the credit. If elected, the IRS will calculate the credit as part of the tax computation by following the directions in the tax form instructions.
