Terminal Representatives Attend Farmers Grain Dealers Meet
Representatives from the Terminal Co-op attended the Farmers Grain Dealers Association of Iowa annual meeting on January 22 23. From the area were Paul Forey Bob Reutter and Omer Burkgren among about 2000 elevator directors and managers and their wives representing more than 300 local cooperatives. FGDA General Manager Charles W Hanson reported over 100 million bushels of corn and soybeans marketed by local elevators last year generating net earnings over 1 million dollars. FGDA is a regional grain marketing cooperative with facilities in Iowa Indiana and the New Orleans port area and operates a soybean processing plant at Mason City.
