Peter Jorgensen and son J R Jorgensen of the Fallow neighborhood purchased a general store at Kensett Iowa. They will assume control January 1. Kensett, a 400 population town with two stores, sits in a rich farming area with bright business prospects. Dob Jorgensen, well known in Kennett, will hold a sale December 18 to dispose of personal property. Both families plan to move to Kensett later this month. Rey and Mrs Axel M Andersen attended mission services at Ringsted recently with successful meetings.

Funeral Of Lewis Knutson Held Friday Afternoon
The funeral for Lewis Knutson was held Friday afternoon at one o'clock at the Norwegian Lutheran church in Big City with Rev. T Hansen of Wallingford officiating. Interment followed in Lost Island cemetery as many neighbors attended and floral offerings decorated the casket. Knutson, born May 1862 in Clayton County Iowa, died November 30 1925 at Grachtinger Iowa age 84 years 6 months. He married Mario Hanson in 1886 at Callendar Iowa and they had eight children. He later married Abjor Knutson in 1911. He lived in Graptringer about fifteen years and worked in restaurant and grocery business. He is survived by his wife and children and is mourned by many relatives and friends who attended the funeral.
