The suit stems from a recent auto crash south of Mallard where Rasmus drove a Chrysler and defendants a Hudson. Halvor Egesos suffers severe leg fracture in wagon accident
Halvor Egesos sustained a badly fractured leg when his team frightened by a passing train, the wagon overturning and the horse harness buckling. Wallter Jorgensen Injured In Fall On Roof
Walter Jorgensen fell thirty feet from a slippery roof while working on Charles Harrington’s new residence in the north part of town. He suffered bad bruises sprains and torn ligaments but no broken bones and hopes to be about again by week’s end. A close call and a miracle he was not more severely injured.

Estherville Bank Depositors Face Decision on Reopening
Estherville will host a meeting in a few days to decide on reopening the Iowa Savings Bank. If reopened, fifty percent of deposits stay as a stated period, while the other half becomes available to depositors.
