A snow storm blocked all roads with lingering drifts in Graettinger and surrounding routes. Main roads were poor, side roads nearly impassable, delaying travel and forcing school closure as pupils enjoyed an extra vacation day after teachers and Supt Stevenson were marooned. Municipal discussions on electric plants continued in Hurt Whittemore and West Bend with local officials inspecting facilities.
