William Rosenberg, manager of Chas. Glatt clothing store, married Miss Lillian Finkelstein in Fargo at midnight Saturday in a Jewish ceremony attended by ten witnesses. The couple, from Beach and New York, will live in Beach while settling plans for a permanent home.

A Sparta Wisconsin party buys the old Westby Bros stock held by the U.S. Court since last fall and plans a clothing and shoe store in Beach. The building, owned by T. O. Thorbus and A. W. Barney, will get a large glass front and extended interior. Lindahl Westby named manager as remodeling proceeds.

Smith and Thompson wed at Hettinger last Wednesday
William H. Smith of Beach and Bertha Thompson were married in Hettinger on July 28. The groom, formerly with the Dickinson Mercantile Co and now at Beach Pioneer Store, and the bride, once with Dickinson’s J C Cartwright store and more recently at Hettinger’s Wiprud store, will reside in Beach after August 15. The Chronicle joins well wishers for their happiness.

Rural Mail Routes Expand Near Beach Area
Rural Route Inspector Carl Egge inspected a proposed 28 mile line south west of Beach, trimming a requested 32 mile route. Approval from Washington pending. A second route, R F D No 3, already inspected, runs from the post office toward the Montana line, then north to return near F. E. Near's farm.
