Individuals Can Help to Control Mosquitoes in Manitoba
Health Minister Larry Desjardins urges Manitobans to join city programs against mosquitoes. Tidy up trash that can hold rainwater and remove standing water from tires cans and car bodies. In rain barrels add detergent to deter breeding. Wear light clothing and use mosquito repellent and netting for infants. These actions can boost self protection and community control.
