Local man critically hurt in Farm Road 199 loader accident
James Broadway of this city suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries when the front end loader he was driving overturned on the Georges Creek bridge on Farm Road 199 Tuesday morning. He was transferred from Reynolds Funeral Home ambulance to Harris Hospital in Fort Worth and is in intensive care after the crash. Broadway is employed by Sand & Rock Products Inc. and was pinned under the machine before help arrived.

Randy Hewlett Dies Of Injuries In Auto Wreck
Randy Hewlett son of Jim Hewlett of Granbury died in a California hospital from injuries from a Sunday automobile wreck near El Toro. He was stationed at a US Marine Base and born in Lubbock on April 22 1953. A Glen Rose High School graduate of 1971 he attended Texas A&M for a year before joining the Marines. Sorority Raises 170 For Yzaquirre Medical Fund
