Jameson Rites Held Saturday
Funeral services for L. L. Jameson of this city were held at Central Church of Christ in Cleburne. Jameson 63 owned nursing homes in Cleburne and Fort Worth and died after a heart attack. He was born February 5, 1904 in Glen Rose and married Rachel Campbell in 1929. He had served as mail carrier and a Church of Christ minister in several towns and led the Church of Christ Home for the Aged. He is survived by widow two sons a daughter two sisters and five grandchildren. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Cleburne.

The chamber of commerce board sanctioned six holidays Memorial Day May 30 July 4 Labor Day Sept 4 Thanksgiving Day Nov 23 Christmas Day Dec 25 and New Year s Day the following Monday. Science Fair Winners To Baylor Meet In Waco

Time Changed For Wedding Cast Practice At School
A home talent show titled A Wedding Without A Woman aims to be the county’s standout entertainment. Baptists Call New Pastor Willis Freeman Named At First Baptist
Rev Willis Freeman of Florence Alabama, training at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, was chosen as pastor of First Baptist Church and will begin duties on the first Sunday in April. He will be joined by his wife and five children next week. Freeman, born in Arkansas and raised in Oklahoma, has held pastorates in Georgia and Alabama and is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist College and Baptist College in LaGrange Georgia.
