Cleburne Man Dies in Sunday Crash
James D. Stobaugh, 28, a Brown & Root construction worker, died on arrival after a 1965 Chevrolet truck left Highway 144 in front of Reynolds Funeral Home, hit a rock fence and tree. He lived in Cleburne, formerly of Athens, survived by wife and one child. Body sent to Morrilton Arkansas for funeral.

Junior Livestock Show Set For Friday
The 19th Annual Junior Livestock Poultry and Homemaking Show will open Friday at 8 a.m. at the Somervell County show grounds. The event, led by Cecil Wood as president, features judging of swine, dairy cattle, sheep, beef cattle, horses and open bull show, with a banquet and sale at 5:30 p.m. and a livestock auction at 7:30 p.m. Division superintendents include Leslie Hart for swine and others for cattle, sheep, and homemaking segments.

The Grand Jury of the 18th District Court returned four indictments this Thursday. Nancy Jane Bragwell faces a removal and concealment of mortgaged property charge for taking a 1963 Ford pickup from the county. Ronald Gene Moses is charged with theft over $200 and burglary of the Dick Moore home in Chalk Mountain. James Vernon Mitchell of Grand Prairie and David Wayne Elliott of Dallas are indicted for aggravated robbery of the Red Barn store here. Mr. and Mrs. Jerre Deason were business visitors in Fort Worth Thursday.
