Four Suspects Arrested After Armed Robbery Near Cleburne
Sheriff Frank Laramore and officers arrested four suspects Saturday at a gas station six miles west of Cleburne on Highway 67 after a robbery at Jerry's One-Stop Center. Victim Bill Brown described pistol- whippings and the theft of about $40 to $45. Dallas men Alton Roy Moore 31 and William Henry Pitts 33 faced armed robbery charges by the district attorney.

Laramore Reports Found Calf Head and Hide
Sheriff Frank Laramore said a Hereford-Angus crossbred calf head and hide were found along a public road on the Gaston Shumate Ranch southwest of town. He estimated the carcass weighed 350 to 500 pounds and suspected the animal was butchered elsewhere Monday. Mrs. Sadie Norman visited Aledo with her son and his family and they later joined Lynn Norman of Arlington to attend the Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo.
