Feast of Tabernacles Festival Opens at Ambassador College
Worldwide Church of God members began arriving at Ambassador College Big Sandy for the Feast of Tabernacles from Sept. 19 to 27. About 4 000 will camp, 5 000 lodge locally, with total attendance reaching up to 97 000 worldwide. Garner Ted Armstrong and Herbert W. Armstrong will visit the site and address gatherings around Sept. 22–23 as festival activities unfold.

W H Bill Villyard of Longview announces a western style Villa Ile shopping center to be built in the 700 block of W Upshur on U S Highway 80 west. The project by Villa lie Investments will cost over 100000 with remodeling and a large parking lot. A Lert Specialty of Greggton works underway and completion is seen in about 30 days. Suit naming city officials dismissed in Gladewater case
A February 1974 civil action filed by former Cozy Theater owners Allen Gaston and Wilton Beggs against the City of Gladewater, Judge Jack Finley, and Mayor O. G. Johnston was dismissed last week with prejudice for want of prosecution by U S District Court Judge William M. Steger. The case, Ty-74-38-CA, capped a year of clashes between the ministerial alliance, local church members, and theater opponents amid a long dispute over X rated films and related injunctions and protests.
