Bobby Don Kidd, 27, of Gladewater, was charged after officers stopped him for a traffic violation. A pistol lay on the seat and marihuana was found during a search. He was arraigned, bond set at 1000 dollars for marijuana and 152.60 for the firearm, then released after posting bond.
Gladewater three service clubs relocate meetings this week as the St. Clair Restaurant closes for a week of employee vacations. Kiwanis meets at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Chamber of Commerce room with breakfast by Mrs Myrt Ales of Myrt's Bakery.
