Gay-Broadway PTA Plans Joint Meeting

The Gay Avenue PTA and Broadway PTA schedule their first regular joint meeting for Tuesday evening October 21 at 7 30 p m in the Broadway Cafeteria. GHS Moves to District 8 AAA for Next Year

Gladewater High School will join District 8-AAA next year, shifting from 14-AA. A Monday meeting in Carthage will organize the district under temporary chairman Lewis Robison. GHS joins East Texas AAA programs including Carthage and Kilgore. Union Grove also moves to District 19-A with White Oak and others.

Minister Brannen completes Holy Land pilgrimage tour

They also visited Rome Athens London Switzerland and Vienna during the 25 day journey, returning Oct 6.
