Two Gladewater and one Union Grove high school boys will attend the 1969 Texas American Legion Boys State at the University of Texas Austin from June 7 to 14. David Mecey Russell Abercrombie and Gerald Tucker Jr. will learn state and local government through party organization, campaigns, elections, and law enactment in a mythical state.
