Collecting Indian Artifacts Is Lifelong Hobby for J. M. Beard
J M Beard of 1307 Rodeo Road maintains one of East Texas most extensive private Indian artifact collections. He began as a boy collecting arrow heads and has since dug for items within a 100 mile radius of Gladewater. The trove includes flint arrow heads, tools, spear points, pottery vessels attributed to the Caddos and items from other tribes found at sites across the region.
