Family day and tennis club event at Glade Tennis and Swim Club
The Glade Tennis and Swim Club hosted a family day on April 27 featuring a mixed doubles draw won by Clydie Porter and Jimmie Muckleroy over Polly Williams and Jim Hugman in a best two of three. Adults and children swam, enjoyed a Sunday supper, and a charity themed foyer display with a barrel mannikin asking for a dime. Club Night launched April 25 with free jukebox play tennis and swimming. A new baby, Shannon David, arrived for Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Green on April 29. Jelly doughnut recipe included as activity material.
