Funeral services for Oron Hudson held in Kilgore
Oron Hudson 65 died Wednesday in Shreveport after a brief illness. Funeral services were Friday at 2 at Malcolm Stone Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Lakey officiating. Interment in Memorial Park. Survivors include widow Leona and three Carnley stepsons. Hudson was a WWII veteran and former Ft. Worth resident.

Gladewater council acts on zoning and sewer project changes
Gladewater City Council approved two zoning changes related to rezoning requests on South Rodeo Medio Barnes property and a welding shop, hired a phase one sewer project engineer with options from Nelson, Kyle, and Hart, and approved a Gay Avenue paving change with curb addition.
