Scenic View Motel and Fish Camp at Lone Star Lake notes bass fishing was fair to good for many anglers. B. G. Munch of Kilgore boated 30 bass, W. B. Ross of East Mountain 9 bass, Greg Clay of Daingerfield a 3 3/4 lb limit, and Ken Rochelle with Ralph Ryan of Dallas 25 bass to 4 pounds. Crappie fishing slow on minnows, with four days of limits for Orval O Neal of Hughes Springs. Bream fishing excellent as Kenneth Roberts and Jimmy Wellborn of Daingerfield brought in a full ice chest. Catfishing on trotlines fair.
