Abuse of Marijuana Warns in Baptist Meeting
A Texas Baptist event at Mrs. Jim Brent's home on March 12 featured Mrs. T J Copeland presenting excerpts from three Baptist Standard articles by Larry Jerden about marijuana. Speakers warned that high numbers of students from elementary to high school are smoking under the name dot or grass, believing it harmless, and urged precise factual argument to counter myths, noting risks include disorientation, impaired judgment, panic, hostility, dependence, brain damage, and possible genetic implications.
